Biography
Joaquim Parra Marujo holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology, Master in Lusophony: Culture, Economics and Politics, Master in Clinical Mental Health, Postgraduate diploma in Community Mental Health, Postgraduate diploma in Mental Health and Psychiatry Nursing, Postgraduate diploma in Pedagogy and Administration applied to Teaching for Nurses, Degree in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatry. He acts as a Coordinating Professor and Director of Graduate in Social Gerontology, in Escola Superior de Educação João de Deus. He is a Psychotherapist and gerontologist transpersonal in Research Unit of Transpersonal Psychology and Gerontology. He is the Member of the International Society for Gerontechnology and BGS - British Geriatrics Society. He has two dozen articles published in magazines and newspapers specialty in gerontology, psychology and design, more than a hundred publications in the fields of gerontology and transpersonal psychology.
