Biography

Jane Mohler is a tenured Professor of Medicine, with co-appointments in the Colleges of Public Health, Bioengineering, Pharmacy and Nursing at the University of Arizona. As a Chronic Disease Epidemiologist, Gerontologist, and Director of the Arizona Healthy Brain Research Center, she leads a highly productive interdisciplinary research program using sophisticated remote monitors and algorithms to measure biometric measures of geriatric syndromes with a focus on frailty, falls and cognition. As past Director of the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System Health Services Research Center (nine years) and Associate Director of the Arizona Center on Aging (ten years), she has mentored hundreds of medical, health science, and engineering trainees and young faculty in aging research.
