Biography
Komal Chauhan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Foods and Nutrition, Faculty of Family and Community Sciences at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, India and also Associate Director, Post Graduate Diploma in Food Service Management. She has teaching experience of 24years for under graduates and 16 years for Post graduates. Dr. Komal Chauhan has research experience for about 16 years through which she guided 23 Masters Dissertations and 4 doctoral students. Her research interests include Geriatric Health & Nutrition (specific), Sports Nutrition and Foods and Nutrition (general). Her research publications are National - 15, International – 12 and Project Reports – 2. Dr. Komal’s articles had published in 5 books and she is also serves as Co-author for a book titled Ageing, Nutrition and Health. She got recognized as International Faculty for conducting workshop on Nutritional Assessment of Elderly at International Conference on Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, 2012 at Delhi.
