Biography
Prof. Stefan Krajcik is currently the Head of 46 bed teaching geriatric department of Slovak Medical University. He did his PhD in Internal Medicine and serves as Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University, Bratislava. Stefan Krajcik was a Prof. of Social Work at Trnava University (Slovakia) in 2001. Associate Prof of Internal Medicine at Slovak Medical University in 2010. He completed his Graduation in 1974 and serves as Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia. Stefan has completed Internal Medicine specialisation in 1978 and 1983 along with Geriatric Medicine qualification in 1987. He also made some Courses and stays like WHO course on social gerontology at Dubrovnik in 1987 ,Geriatric Centre Berlin-Buch in 1990, 2 week stay at Geriatric department at Catholic University, Montgodine, Belgium in 1993, 5 week course Impact of population ageing on health care provision London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 1991, a week stay at Geriatric Research Unit at Mc Master University, Canada in 2000. He has made 231 Publications (9 monographies). Prof. Stefan Krajcik also serves as Vice-President of Slovak Gerontological and Geriatric Society, Consultant of Slovak Health Ministry for geriatrics. Prof. Stefan Krajcik was born on April 22, 1950.
